Edenvale Homestead

Edenvale Homestead was built in 1888 by Edward McLarty, son of pioneer farmers John and Mary McLarty, who arrived in the colony in 1839 from Campbelltown, Scotland.

Edenvale Homestead is open daily from 10:00am to 3:00pm and has so much to offer your small or large group. Enjoy a lovely Devonshire tea (bookings appreciated for 10 or more) at the Edenvale Tearooms, have a wander through the impressive Roger May Machinery Museum or purchase locally made art and craft from the Murray Arts and Craft Society. Take time to appreciate the locally produced artworks at Liveringa Gallery, amaze at the quilts of the Pinjarra Patchwork and Quilters Group or be fascinated by the rich history of the Shire of Murray at the Murray Districts Historical Society’s gallery, located near the treasured Heritage Rose Garden opposite the fifth oldest church in Western Australia, St John’s.

If you have something more tech savvy in mind, please enquire about our Heritage walking trails at the Pinjarra Visitor Information Point, located in the Murray Arts and Crafts Centre, with interactive QR codes for a more detailed historical encounter of the Pinjarra town site (walk is approximately 3kms).
