One great holiday activity is walking, and walking at a superb spot like Herron Point, situated right on a white sandy beach, can be made into a whole day event.
This is a fantastic place to have a gentle bushwalk or bike ride with a magnificent view across the Harvey Estuary. Heron Point is located off the Old Bunbury Road approximately 34 kms south of Mandurah.
The land is surrounded by Kooljerrenup Nature Reserve. Bird life at Herron Point is abundant and varied, ranging from the extraordinary pelican to diminutive waders which migrate 9,000 kilometres to escape the Arctic winter.
