Marrinup Townsite Camping Grounds

Marrinup Townsite campground is only a few kilometres north-west of Dwellingup and provides tables, wood barbecues and toilets.

Nature lovers will enjoy the serenity of the forest and its flora and fauna while following trails along the creek to the falls or visiting the remnants of the old POW camp, an enjoyable 4.5km walk from the campground.

The camp was built to accommodate 1,600 men and catered for mainly Italian and German prisoners of war who were set to work as labourers on farms and cut firewood.

Bookings do not apply at this campground. It operates on a first come - first served basis.
