Serpentine Falls Walk Trail

Serpentine - Jarrahdale Bush

Details

Serpentine National Park is just one hours’ drive 55 km south-east of Perth, and makes an ideal day visit.

The Serpentine Falls Walk Trail is an easy stroll from the carpark to see the lovely Falls, or you can venture on top to see the cascade from the viewing platform.

The walk is essentially a gravel road of approx 500m from the carpark to the Serpentine Falls which is not accessible to vehicles.

To continue up to the viewing platform, there are rocky outcrops so take care. The treed, grassy park beside the parking area has toilets, gas barbecues, tables and shaded areas but remember no alcohol or glass is allowed into the Park.

Three walks can be accessed from the Serpentine picnic area car park; the Falls Walk Trail, Baldwins Bluff Nature Track and Kitty’s Gorge Walk Track.

During the busy summer months, it is recommended that you arrive before 11am, since once the Park has reached maximum capacity the Rangers will close the gates (open daily 8.30am till 5.00pm).

Admission Prices | National Park Entrance Fee of $12 per vehicle applies.
