Turner Hill Trail

Dwellingup Bush

Details

Close to Perth for an easy getaway, this trail is both enjoyable and exhilarating. In addition to the 11km main loop, there’s a 5km shortcut, as well as an easy rated 1.1km kids loop.

Turner Hill is a fun and challenging course with plenty of fast and exhilarating obstacles incorporated in the trail. There is a sequence of log-overs, drops, doubles and jumps (not for the faint hearted!). The main loop is about 11km long but can be shortened to a 5km loop by taking a turn-off a few kilometres in. The short loop rejoins the main loop toward the end (missing out the long climb).

The trails are well signed. To get to Turner Hill from Perth, travel the South West Highway to North Dandalup. Turn left on to Del Park Road to Dwellingup. The road climbs up the scarp and after 10kms you will see the Blue Munda Biddi signs where the Munda Biddi crosses Del Park Road. Slow down at this point ready to turn right into Scarp Road (this may not be sign posted). Scarp Road climbs slightly on gravel and you will see the Munda Biddi signs come and go along this road. You then turn left into Kesner Road and travel another 500m to the Gazebo which is on the left hand side of the road. There is also a toilet facility at the race site.
